Welcome to Yoga Society Events

We welcome you to join in any of the events that are run throughout the year. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or new to yoga, you are welcome to attend.

Our Yoga Events

Our events offer you an opportunity to experience a wide range of opportunities to experience a more concentrated yoga experience. From a day to a residential weekend, there are events that offer you a chance to enjoy a period of time set aside to immerse yourself in yoga practice. This events are an excellent addition to classes and your own yoga practice as well as offering a great introduction to yoga.

March 29/30th, 2025 Chakra Weekend

Chakra Weekend with Anne-Marie McGlinchey at Dunree Yoga Centre. Explore the energies of the Chakras in a practical way through colour, sound, breathwork,
movement and meditation. Cost €150. This is non-residential but various levels of accommodation are available locally to suit all needs. This weekend is suitable for everyone regardless of their experience of the Chakra system. Information/bookings to rosemarysheehy@gmail.com

May 17/18th, 2025 Writing from the Heart

Writing from the Heart (finding a voice that is truly your own) with Jamie & Sarah
Jauncey at Dunree Yoga Centre, Buncrana, Co. Donegal. Writing can be a wonderful way to explore the inner and outer connections that help you find real meaning and speak your personal truths. On this weekend we invite you to write about what matters most to you – the people, places and events, the thoughts, ideas and feelings that make you who you truly are. You don’t need to think of yourself as a writer to take part in this weekend. Jamie is an author, writer and musician, Sarah is a counsellor and yoga teacher. Yoga Holiday in Dunree Yoga Centre, Buncrana, Co. Donegal. Experience the magnificence of your own Being during this transformative week as you become aware of your own energy field and how nature and the elements are all represented within our Being in this unspoiled location overlooking Lough Swilly as it opens into the Atlantic Ocean. This week is suitable for everyone regardless of experience of yoga. The yoga classes cover the physical teaching of Hatha Yoga with emphasis on the holistic and spiritual aspects of traditional yoga teaching. This is non-residential but various levels of accommodation are available locally to suit all needs. Cost €400 including lunch daily.
